Should I Buy Eyeglasses Online?

Optical services Lynwood CAEyeglasses not only help you see better, but they also reveal a part of your personality. When you are choosing a new pair of glasses, you want fit, function and appeal. Many new services are coming to market that offers online buying options for consumers, but are these the best choice when purchasing your new eyeglasses?

Finding a Comfortable Fit

Some of the online websites allow you to upload photos and virtually try on eyeglass frames. This does give you an idea of how the glasses will look on your face, but the technology cannot tell you if the glasses will fit comfortably. When you visit our optical shop to find a new pair of eyeglasses, you can try on the frames, and one of our technicians will adjust the fit to your face.

Prescription Lens Quality

The prescription lenses that come with your new eyeglasses are the reason that you want new frames. Online websites provide little, if any, information about the labs that they use for putting the frames with the lenses. We only use top-notch labs for all of our patient eyeglasses and sunglasses. If the lenses are not correct when we receive them, we work with the lab to have the issue remedied. With an online site, you may have to work with the online company and lab to have the mistakes corrected.

Appeal Matters

Have you ever ordered something online only to find out that the product is smaller or larger than what you saw on the website? This happens with eyeglasses, as well. Even though the frames may have been appealing online, once you try them on, you may have a different opinion. Using our optical shop for your eyeglasses gives you the chance to try on as many pairs as needed to find just the right amount of personal appeal.
