CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 Update

We take the safety and well-being of our patients very seriously. We ask that anyone that enters the facility wear a mask prior to entering.

Accepted Insurance & Payments

We accept many types of medical insurance and vision plans. Many insurances require a referral and an authorization from your primary care provider before the visit. If you have requested an appointment online, we will need to verify your eligibility and see if you need an authorization. Call our office with any questions or concerns.

Bring your Medical Insurance Card and Driver’s License or Identification Card (I.D.) to each visit to ensure we have up to date information.

What to Expect in the Office

To ensure everyone’s safety during COVID-19: We continue to recommend wearing a mask while in the office.

Checking In

Upon arrival into the office you will have the option of checking in on your phone, at a kiosk or at the front desk. Provide your Medical Insurance Card and I.D. card unless you have already uploaded it into the system. You may have a co-pay.

Exam

We will obtain or review your eye and medical history.

Bring your current glasses or contact lens box with you. If you wear contact lens, we can check your vision with them on, but then will ask that you remove them.

Our technician and Doctors will complete different tests during your visit to measure your vision and determine your eye health.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT DILATING EYES: Your eyes may be dilated using eye drops, which can cause blurred vision. Due to this reason, it is suggested that you bring a driver.

Your doctor will review if you need more testing and how often we should check your eyes.

Optical

During your visit you have the opportunity to visit the optical department, but you do not need an appointment to go. If you would like to visit outside a scheduled appointment we recommend calling beforehand to ensure one of our dedicated opticians is there to assist you.
